The Mountain Ring Of Iapetus

V838 Monocerotis
This star 20,000 light years away called V838 Monocerotis in the constellation Monoceros experienced an outburst of sorts that has many theories baffling astrologers today.

Largest Galaxy Collision
Captured by the Hubble Telescope this is the largest galaxy to date. The Antennae galaxy is helping astronomers find out what will happen when the Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy collide a few million years from know.

The youngest supernova in the Milky Way


After searching for literally decades, astronomers have found a supernova in our galaxy! ... It’s located very near the center of the galaxy, about 28,000 light years away, and it’s only at most about 140 years old.
